Recognize the material

The waxy colored surface is a spathe; the small flowers are carried on the projecting spadix. It is not one oversized petal.

Botanical reference: Anthurium andraeanum — NC State Extension

Make a deliberate design choice

Inspect the facing direction of a real spathe. Several overlapping faces can conceal the feature you selected it for. Compare open space around one specimen with a second at another angle in the actual vessel.

A comparison you can reproduce

Price one and two stems as separate drafts. Use Cost Calculator for the difference, then check the real facing direction: the SVG does not reproduce spathe orientation.

The comparison is an original BLUMIVELA planning exercise, not a tested arrangement or a botanical treatment.
