Recognize the material

Orange sepals and blue petals emerge from a boat-like spathe. The bloom has a projecting profile rather than a conventional spherical head.

Botanical reference: Strelitzia reginae — NC State Extension

Make a deliberate design choice

Check the direction and reach of the actual bloom near walls, shelves, and neighboring stems. A narrow vase opening says little about the space required by the projecting flower.

A comparison you can reproduce

Measure stem length for Vase Advisor and price one versus two stems. Neither a favorable ratio nor the SVG tests the bloom's weight, direction, or support in your vase.

The comparison is an original BLUMIVELA planning exercise, not a tested arrangement or a botanical treatment.
