Recognize the material

Echinacea purpurea has a raised spiny cone and rays that may droop around it. The leaves are relatively broad.

Botanical reference: Echinacea purpurea — NC State Extension

Make a deliberate design choice

Look at the center in profile before combining it with a rounded double flower. Keep the cone visible if it is the reason for the choice. Similar pink rays alone are not sufficient identification.

A comparison you can reproduce

Save separate three-stem Purple Coneflower and Pale Purple Coneflower drafts. Request stock by scientific name. This ornamental comparison supplies no medicinal or safety claim about Echinacea products.

The comparison is an original BLUMIVELA planning exercise, not a tested arrangement or a botanical treatment.
