Recognize the material

Gladiolus has sword-like leaves and tall spikes with flowers commonly arranged along one side or nearly so. The display has a front and a profile.

Botanical reference: Gladiolus — NC State Extension

Make a deliberate design choice

Turn the actual spike to inspect open flowers and buds. A wall-side arrangement and a table viewed from all sides may need different orientations. A nominal stem count does not solve that viewing problem.

A comparison you can reproduce

Measure full supplied stems for Vase Advisor and compare one versus three in the cost estimate. Check the real vessel: the SVG does not model spike orientation, opening sequence, head weight, or support.

The comparison is an original BLUMIVELA planning exercise, not a tested arrangement or a botanical treatment.
