Recognize the material

Solidago canadensis has many tiny yellow heads in broad branching sprays, often with a pyramid-like outline. Its leaves are narrow and toothed.

Botanical reference: Solidago canadensis — NC State Extension

Make a deliberate design choice

Hold one real spray beside the focal group before deciding the quantity. A small order of broad sprays can create more mass than the same count of narrow spikes. Preserve visible branching if that is the desired feature.

A comparison you can reproduce

Save one spray-bearing stem, then compare three with the same focal group. Neither a yellow SVG mark nor a generic goldenrod label identifies branch width or confirms this particular Solidago species.

The comparison is an original BLUMIVELA planning exercise, not a tested arrangement or a botanical treatment.
