Recognize the material

Coreopsis tinctoria has notched yellow rays often marked reddish-brown near their bases, around a reddish-purple disc. Leaves are finely divided.

Make a deliberate design choice

Check the dark-to-yellow balance of actual heads. One yellow palette entry cannot represent every bicolored pattern. A real sample beside a pale flower helps determine whether the markings remain visible.

A comparison you can reproduce

Keep an equal-count Coreopsis draft separate from a yellow Rudbeckia alternative. Confirm the scientific name; not all coreopsis species share these markings, and planning color does not identify a cultivar.

The comparison is an original BLUMIVELA planning exercise, not a tested arrangement or a botanical treatment.
